Hello, I’m Mary!

I grew up in a small town in Southwest Iowa as one of ten children. I always enjoyed making things. My sister and I would make Barbie doll clothes from fabric scraps. Later I would enjoy cross stitch, crocheting and many other crafts.

As I grew older I enjoyed learning new techniques: knitting, sewing and quilting. Scrapbooking and cardmaking entered in my new techniques also. I spent a few years going to craft shows schmucking my creations.

As I continued to add techniques to my repertoire, I realized I had become a mixed-media artist. Enjoying mixing all those colors and mediums together on any substrate I could find. I continue to enjoy creating all kinds of art.
